At the European Forum for Science, Technology, and Innovation ‘Transfiere’, held at the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos in Málaga, Málaga TechPark organized a key national meeting for Spanish partners involved in the European project AccessCoVE. The aim of this working space was to analyse the progress of the project and to address the main and current challenges related to accessibility in the field of Vocational Education and Training (VET). The meeting allowed to strengthen the coordination between the Spanish partners and to boost the implementation of the actions planned within the consortium.

AccessCoVE, funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, aims to promote excellence in VET in the field of accessibility. The project involves 22 organisations from four countries: Greece, Sweden, Italy and Spain.

One of the central aspects of the meeting was the International Cooperation Network on Accessibility, a key initiative of the project that seeks to connect the different actors of the ecosystems involved in the member countries. This network facilitates the joint work between professionals, experts and entities of the sector, promoting the exchange of knowledge and experiences to advance towards a more inclusive and adapted training for all people.

With this type of initiative, the Spanish partners reinforce their commitment to accessible and quality education, in line with the values of inclusion and cooperation promoted by the European Union.
